‘Well done, lads. You were fucking magic out there today.’

Dave Springer, the manager of third-placed Chilton Rovers, was beaming at his team’s five-one annihilation of second placed Brimsmore United. The teams had just come off the pitch into the changing rooms. The sound of the cheering home fans was still ringing in their ears. There was a lot of whooping and good-natured larking about. The lads were in buoyant mood. The team was on course for their first championship in ten years.

Dave continued. ‘I tell you, lads, the things I saw out there today, it was fucking awesome. You play like that the rest of the season we’ll reel in those northern bastards at the top and win the league, I’m telling you. We could have doubled our score today if it hadn’t been for their keeper.’

Dave was cock-a-hoop. His keeper, Pete Bailey, poured the rest of his mineral water over Dave’s head. There was a big cheer and a couple of other players gave their coach a playful ‘goosing’.

‘Fuck off, you two!’

‘And the ref,’ piped up Colin Tully, one of the two centre backs and captain. ‘He was a fucking dildo. He missed at least two stonewall pens.’

‘Well they can’t be now, boss. We’re level on points and our goal difference is far superior.’

‘And I reckon golden bollocks was something else. Well done, Frankie-boy. Anderlecht must’ve been nuts to let you go.’

‘Yeah, well he is getting on a bit, boss,’ said Kev Johnson, attempting to ruffle the Dutch striker’s tight braids without success. ‘Well done, you Dutch tart.’ Kev playfully flicked the gold ring that pierced Frank’s right nipple... and Frank felt the reaction in his cock.
